MORRIS BOXES FOR FIRST PRO BELT

March 3rd at the Halls, WILL HIS DREAM COME TRUE?

You cant keep a good man down and that really is the story of this man Ziaphan Morris as he boxes for his first professional belt at The Halls in Norwich on Friday 3rd March. Morris who never had an amateur career but always dreamed of one day becoming a professional boxer first entered the ring in the "White Collar, Exhibition Boxing" but he always dreamed that one day he would join the people he watched train every day and admired. Professional like Liam and Ryan Walsh, Sam Sexton, Nathan Dale great guys who have made their names in the squared ring.
Boxing literally saved this guy from the streets and perhaps a more unproductive life, he kept his head down trained hard and gained valuable ring experienced. Speaking continually with Jon Thaxton and renowned pro trainer Graham Everett down at the Kickstop in Norwich he eventually proved to them that he was focused, dedicated and with an enthusiasm rarely seen these days they could do nothing more than pave the way for this young man to realise his dream. He actually proved through his very hard work and dedication that even though he did not get the best of starts in life and his boxing you can achieve your dreams.

Since that time his infectious enthusiasm has rubbed of on everyone around him as he remains undefeated in the professional ranks and has gained a huge following of fans who share his dream. when you talk to Zaiphan you get a real sense of a man who is living his dream and enjoying every single second of it, he shares this with his fans who have formed a close affection with the boxer and his moto "In It Together" and they literally are as one when he enters the ring!

He is also a proud family man who makes sure he has time for his much loved family and somehow holds down a full time job but also trains like those professional with the luxury of being able to train full time, a truly remarkable young man indeed. Most people find it hard enough to hold down a fulltime job never mind full time professional training and still be a proud family man.  His story has been liken in the press to the true real life Rocky and that certainly holds water as he makes his way up the ranks.

We can look forward to seeing the "Z-Mans" loyal fans out in force on March the 3rd getting behind their man and willing with all there might that he can achieve what a short time ago would have seemed impossible. This is Zaiphan's world Title and Norwich's true to life Rocky character will relish the challenge and be in no doubt he and his army of fans will do everything they can so that the belt will be around his waist at the end of the night.

Like most of Norwich and any person who knows this young man we will be willing him across the line.

Turning Professional, Boxing alongside some of the best in the country, head Lining in his own town, Well that really is what dreams are made off and If anyone deserves it alto come true it is the remarkable Zaiphan "Z-Man" Morris, if only we had more like himn the world would be a better place.

Good Luck Z-Man, Good Luck The Norwich Rocky!
